Park Place Apartments Fire Loss
Park Place Apartments, an upscale apartment complex owned by a Massachusetts corporation, suffered a major fire that destroyed several apartments. Following recommendations made from various sources, the owners retained Tutwiler and Associates to assist them in the claim process. Tutwiler and Associates was successful in arguing with the insurance carrier that the building was irreparable and in fact a total loss. Citizens Insurance Company subsequently tendered the full policy limits on the building as well as the limits on the business, personal property destroyed in the fire.
