The Key West Beach Club Condominium Association located directly on the Atlantic Ocean in Key West, Florida is this community’s most prestigious and upscale condominium resort. On September 25, 1998 this complex was damaged by Hurricane “Georges” and suffered resulting windstorm and flood damage. After being advised by their insurance company adjusting representatives that the damages would most likely not exceed their deductible, the Board made the decision to retain Tutwiler and Associates, Inc. to represent them for both flood and wind damages. After assessing the loss, preparing the documentation and participating in the negotiations, this community received a settlement for damages close to $700,000.00.
