D-Coy Clothing is a designer clothing retailer located in Miami's fashion district. Hurricane Wilma caused damage to the building that D-Coy was leasing as a tenant. The building damage allowed water inside the tenant space causing extensive water damage to the inventory, furniture and fixtures. A detailed damage assessment of the tenant improvements was completed along with a detailed inventory report. A series of negotiations with the insured's carrier resulted in an insurance settlement of more than $233,169.00.
