Gardens of Forest Lakes, a 160-unit condominium association located in Pinellas County, Florida, suffered a collapse loss caused by hidden decay and insect damage which was discovered in October 2001. The association hired the services of Tutwiler and Associates, a public adjusting firm to assist them with their loss and damages. Tutwiler and Associates documented, presented, and participated in two lengthy mediations which ultimately resulted in the association receiving a $1.5 million settlement from its property insurance carrier.
