and Cecil Pierce of American Insurance Association.
2) "Recertification Umpire Certification" along with Janet Brown, Esq.; Jon Doan, Claim Consulting Group; Art Newman, Belfor Construction; and the Honorable Tom Turner, Florida Circuit Court Judge.
3) "Words Matter" with Donna Devaney, Esq. Merlin Law Group; Sandy Burnette, Esq.; and Jon Held, J.S. Held Inc.

Charles R. “Dick” Tutwiler, President of Tutwiler & Associates,
Inc. was a speaker at the April 2008 National Hurricane Conference at the
Rosen Center in Orlando, FL. Over 1700 people from across the United States
and the Caribbean were in attendance for this 4-day conference. Mr. Tutwiler
was on a panel with J. Robert Wooley, Esq., the former Insurance Commissioner
of Louisiana and William F. “Bill” Bailey, Esq., the spokesperson
for the Hurricane Katrina Information Center and formerly the spokesperson
for the Hurricane Andrew Information Center. The topic for their insurance
workshop was: “Wind versus Water Damage Coverage-An Update.”

Tutwiler served as a panel member of the insurance/legal workshop at the CAI
West Florida Chapter annual trade show held on April 20, 2007 at Venice Community
Center in Venice, FL. Important issues on insurance and legal questions covering
condominium and homeowner associations were discussed by the 8 panel members
in attendance.

R. “Dick” Tutwiler was one of three keynote speakers at the Radisson Hotel in
February 2007 for the Rampart Properties Community Leadership Forum. The audience
of over 200 condominium board of directors, managers, and insurance agents/brokers
were in attendance to learn about leadership issues, including how to deal with
large insurance losses given the post-loss fact investigations that are often
undertaken by insurance companies following catastrophic losses.

Anderson-Kill Seminar in Boston on October 26, 2007. Mr. Tutwiler provided a Florida
update on adjusting matters as well as delivered a key paper—Property Insurance
Law and Ordinance Coverage—Illusionary?
