This Cape Coral homeowner hired a roofing contractor to install a new roof during a remodeling project. The roofing contractor removed the old roof without properly covering the openings in the roof. After an afternoon rain shower the following day the homeowner discovered water damage in multiple rooms of the house. The homeowner was referred to public adjuster Keith Grams of Tutwiler & Associates, who met with the insurance company adjusters at the home to inspect and discuss the damage. Over the next several weeks, Keith was able to negotiate a favorable settlement that adequately covered the water damage.
