As a result from Hurricane Jeanne, Royal Stewart Arms #3 Inc. incurred damages to their roof. A disagreement between the Condominium Association and their insurance carrier resulted in Michael Platts of Tutwiler and Associates being retained. Mr. Platts determined the scope of damage, submitted the claim to the carrier’s representative law firm in a timely manner, and also assisted the association in complying with requests and requirements from the defense attorney. As time elapsed, Mr. Platts realized that the statute of limitation was approaching without action by the association's law firm. He personally brought the issue to a head which resulted in specialist legal counsel being retained, deadlines being met, and ultimately an amicable settlement of six figures being obtained. Because of Mr. Platts detailed follow up and attention to time requirements and deadlines, the Condominium Association was able to settle their loss.
