In April, 2010, The Drano Family suffered numerous pipe breaks in their home which resulted in severe water damages not only to the home but to their contents on the first floor. After viewing the claim, the insurance company refused to pay much of the claim. Mr. Drano who owned Tuscany’s a local Italian Restaurant, was familiar with Tutwiler's Public Adjuster who often dined there and reached out knowing was a Licensed Public Adjuster. We took control of the claim and quickly advised the Drano Family of the option for Appraisal, a clause in the insurance policy that is put in place when both parties cannot agree on damages. Our adjuster appraised the loss on behalf of the Drano’s, and was able to secure a fair and equitable settlement to everyone’s satisfaction.
