In May of 2008 The Rashkov Family suffered severe fire damage to their home. Mr. Rashkov a custom home builder understood the need for the assistance of a licensed Public Adjuster and reached out to Tutwiler & Associates. Our adjuster quickly assessed the loss, reviewed the insurance policy and determined a number of claim issues needed to be negotiated.
Some of the issues that needed to be dealt with:
A. Was the home a total loss ? The insurer didn’t believe it was. The home was ultimately deemed a total loss, and policy limits paid.
B. Repair or replace valuable musical instruments and other art pieces. The insurer wanted to salvage, and clean the items. All the contents including the art, musical instruments and personal belongings were paid for in full after our Public Adjuster made a strong case for full replacement. The Rashkov family was made whole and was able to build a new home and replace all their losses.
