Hurricane Irma hit Florida as a Category 3 storm the morning of September 11, 2017. It was the most powerful Atlantic hurricane in recorded history. Unfortunately for our insured, their home located in Winter Park, Florida sustained significant damage due to the massive storm. The insured contacted their insurance company immediately following the storm.
