The Fountainbleau Terrace Hotel & Resort
The Fountainbleau Terrace Hotel and Resort is perhaps the best known landmark in Panama City Beach. "Old Blue," as it is known locally, is partially constructed out over the Gulf waters. On October 4, 1995 Hurricane "Opal" caused extensive damage to this landmark. The insurance company's best offer was approximately $125,000.00 Subsequently, the management company hired Tutwiler and Associates, Inc., who concluded the windstorm claim for $575,100.00 (a 460% increase) or $450,000.00 additional money.
