Ft. Myers Florida located in Lee County is the gateway to the Southwest Florida region. Places like Boca Grande, Sanibel Island, Captiva Island, Pine Island and Ft. Myers Beach are major tourist destinations in Florida. In early May of 2006 this Ft. Myers Beach rental villa suffered a large fire causing extensive damage to the building roof, exterior walls, windows, electrical, insulation, updated interior finishings and custom furniture. The property owner, eager to restore his rental property and source of income incurred enormous out of pocket expenses to repair and replace his property.
Is was not long until the owner became extremely frustrated with the insurance company's lack of response and minimal offer to settle the claim.
