This home is located in a neighborhood where at least a dozen other homes have been damaged due to confirmed sinkhole activity. Nonetheless, this homeowner's claim was initially denied after the insurance company's experts expressed an opinion that the damage was not being caused by a sinkhole. The homeowner then hired Tutwiler and Associates, Inc. to assist with the claim. Additional subsurface investigations concluded the presence of sinkhole activity. Further discussion and presentations resulted in the insurance company reversing their position and settling the entire claim to our client's satisfaction.
