The heavy winds and rain caused multiple leaks on the main roof; extensive damage to glass windows and sliding glass doors and ruined elegant finishing throughout the interior of the building. After a detailed inspection of all the units, a successful negotiated settlement of covered damages was resolved after a long delay by the insurance carrier. The Association received a settlement of $1.7 million.
